Prayer Chain/Request
Hosanna’s Prayer Chain is a caring ministry that brings support and compassion to our members through the power of prayer. Participants agree to pray for any member or family member who requests prayers as they are going through the inevitable personal difficulties that come in life. Members reach out to the coordinator, who then writes up the prayer request and shares it with the members who have agreed to be on the email prayer chain list.
Breakfast Sandwich Club
A group for those who find themselves in the “sandwich” generation – who are caring for elderly parents with Alzheimers, dementia, and other health concerns, while juggling their own careers, relationships, and raising children. This group meets over breakfast the 3rd Saturday of the month, at the Blue Plate Diner 8 – 9 am to share joys, challenges, and encouragement.
Stephen Ministry
We all face challenges in our lives and some are easier to cope with than others. Whether it is the impact of the pandemic, a death in the family, divorce, a life-altering diagnosis for you or a family member, loss of a job or a relocation. A Stephen Minister can walk with you through what you are facing with a listening ear, providing encouragement, and prayers. Stephen Ministers are also trained and available to provide that same support dealing with the stress of even positive life transitions such as the birth of a baby, empty nesting, job change or retirement. Please know you are not alone and your Hosanna family has people equipped to walk with you. Contact Pastor Krista if you would be interested in meeting with a Stephen Minister.
