Memorial Garden
We are a group of approximately 10 Hosanna members who gather every Tuesday from 7-9 am to weed and plant the garden and urns from April-October, with cleanup in autumn. The Memorial Garden is financed through donations per church members, memorials, grants from Thrivent, and the Joyce Elizabeth Bandel Memorial Garden Trust Fund
Community Garden
Members who love gardening meet to grow food for the hungry and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation. Members and non-members can also grow food for their own use. The community garden team meets at church. The garden plots are tilled in the spring and the fall, and the team meets throughout the season to plant, weed, water and harvest.
Rummage Sale
Hosanna Youth and volunteers organize a rummage sale to raise funds for youth mission trips. The Hosanna Youth rummage sale is held annually. This group is flexible and provides numerous opportunities to assist with the event. Opportunities to donate items are announced in Hosanna’s weekly and monthly communications.
Prayer Chain
Hosanna’s Prayer Chain is a caring ministry that brings support and compassion to our members through the power of prayer. Participants agree to pray for any member or family member who requests prayers as they are going through the inevitable personal difficulties that come in life. Members reach out to the coordinator, who then writes up the prayer request and shares it with the members who have agreed to be on the email prayer chain list.
